To my friends and KOMO viewers,
Thanks so much for the very kind words and thoughts as I face this health challenge.I will have surgery to remove a brain tumor on Thursday April 3rd. I expect to be in the hospital a few days and recovering at home after that.I so appreciate your prayers and good wishes. I plan on being back to KOMO News as soon as I’m able.

very sad indeed. King 5 news even did a nice shout out to her this morning wishing her a speedy recovery and return to the news desk. Classy move from the competition.
